♫♫♫ MPS MPS AGM

Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 6:30 pm in the school gymnasium. One parent/guardian of each student is asked to attend this mandatory meeting for grade 7-9 parents and is optional for grade 6 parents. Information about the band program, workshops, and band camps will be discussed. This meeting also doubles as the parent information night, which is required if your child will be attending any overnight trips with the band.

♫♫ Band Forms

Band 7-9 forms will be sent home soon. Please have them filled out and returned by October 3, 2025, along with payment for Band Shirts, if needed. The Music Instrument Rental Fee and the Band Resource Fee will be in your PowerSchool accounts shortly.

♫ Summer Instrument Rental

If you had an instrument rental over the summer, please return ASAP so we can finalize instruments for the school year.

♫♫ Jazz Band will be starting October 3rd at 8:00am. Jazz band will be Tuesdays at lunch and Fridays at 8:00am. Everyone welcome!

♫♫♫ Volunteers Needed!

All of the off-site workshops in the band program require volunteers. We are planning day and overnight workshops for the 2025-2026 year. Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents are all welcome to volunteer, as long as they have Security Clearance. MPS MPS is fundraising through Healthy Hunger this year. Every time you order a Healthy Hunger Lunch on Mondays the proceeds go directly to the band program. Thank you for your support!
TruEarth Laundry Strips: Wow! A true eco-friendly product. No plastic jugs, just compressed soap strips that actually clean your laundry, toilet bowls, laundry stains, kitchens, and dishes! This is an ongoing fundraiser. Click HERE.
Empty Bottles: Keep your empties and donate them to MPS Music Parents Society at the bottle depots. Information on where and which codes to use are below:
