MPS Weekly Update | June 20, 2025

What a busy but exciting week we had completing final assessments and PATs, celebrating our amazing grade 9 students at Thursday evening’s Farewell as well as a variety of activities to recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Report Cards

A reminder that families can view, download or print online report cards starting on Wednesday, June 25 until July 25, 2025 through MyCBE. After July 25, reports cards are no longer available for viewing, downloading and/or printing. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades as well as attendance information.

While preliminary Grades 6 and 9 PAT results will not be noted on student report cards, they will be sent home with students next week.

IPPs

Individual Program Plans (IPPs) will be sent home with students on Friday, June 20. Please review, sign, and return them as soon as possible—the deadline for return is Monday, June 24. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s IPP, please don’t hesitate to contact their teacher advocate directly. Thank you for your continued support as we wrap up the school year!

2024-2025 Yearbook

There are 19 extra yearbooks.  If you would like one, it will be a first-come, first-served basis.  Bring $42.00 cash to Ms. Lock in the office if you would like to have a beautiful keepsake of the 2024-2025 school year.

Yellow Bus Service for 2025-26 | Registration Closing Sunday, June 22

This is a reminder that transportation registration for next year closes this Sunday, June 22, 2025. Eligible families can do so via your MyCBE account (find support here). Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed to have a bus stop assigned to them for the first day of school and may have a 6-8 week wait before they are assigned to a bus. Confirmed routes will be posted in August.

Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025.

Transportation Schedule for the Last Day of School

This is a friendly reminder that the last day of school for students – June 26th, will be a half day. Please note that transportation will be provided according to our Friday early dismissal schedule (12:55pm).
