Dear MPS Families,

As we close out the 2024-2025 school year, I want to take the opportunity to wish our community the very best for a summer filled with relaxation, adventure and time to connect with family and friends. It has been an incredible school year with so much to celebrate both in and out of the classroom, with changes and challenges that have strengthened our learning community.

For our new and returning families, you can expect to receive a welcome email from your student's homeroom teacher by 2pm on August 29th. This email will contain all the start-up details you will need. In the meantime, feel free to visit our website for any updates on back-to-school information. Please note, our office will be closed during the summer and will reopen on Monday, August 25th from 9 am - 3 pm.

A final farewell to our wonderful Grade 9 students and their families – we will miss your presence at MPS but know that you are remarkable young people who will thrive wherever you go and represent us well. Thank you for the unforgettable memories made and relationships built. It has been a true pleasure watching you grow and we hope you will come back to visit.

Staffing Updates

Hayley McInnes

As we say goodbye to Ms. Hayley McInnes, I want to thank her for the incredible support and dedication shown during her time at Mountain Park. She made a meaningful impact with students and staff in a short period of time and we are truly grateful for all that she brought to MPS.

Ms. White, who has been a valued part of our TASC program, will be moving on to a teaching role within a different specialized setting in the CBE. We are grateful for the care and expertise she brought to our students and wish her continued success as she supports learners in new and meaningful ways.

Lori Taylor

As our Assistant Principal, Lori Taylor, retires after 9 years of service to the Mountain Park School community, I want to extend my most heartfelt thanks for the unwavering support, leadership and care she has shown to our students and families. Her presence will be greatly missed in these hallways but we wish her the very best in the exciting chapter ahead!
