Principal’s Holiday Message

 

As we wind down the 2023 year and move into a well-deserved winter break, I want to express my heart-felt gratitude to our strong Mountain Park School community for the warm welcome and support you have shown me as your new principal. I have so enjoyed working alongside our outstanding Wolverine staff and getting to know our students and families.

 

On behalf of all of us at MPS, we wish you a peaceful holiday season with time to rejuvenate and enjoy your loved ones.

High School Tour: Lord Beaverbrook

We will be taking our grade 9 students on a tour of Lord Beaverbrook the morning of January 30^th. More information will follow in the New Year. Parents and students are encouraged to book their calendars for LBHS Open House the evening of January 29^th. Please see their invitation here.

 

Fees:

As the end of the first semester is fast approaching, we encourage you to please take a look at your My CBE PowerSchool account for outstanding fees.  These are located under the student fees & service registration tab.  They are for Field trips, Optional Course Fees, Noon Hour Activity Fee and Athletics

 

Band: 

Jazz Band Rehearsals will start up again the first week back from holidays on Tuesday Jan 9.

 

MPS Music Parents Society has signed up with South Pointe Bottle Depot (5126 126 Ave SE) and Deerfoot Bottle Depot (11440 29 St SE).  Return your Christmas empties at either location and have your bottle money donated to Mountain Park School Band.  Please tag your bags with LG782 at South Pointe Bottle Depot.  Thank you for your support and Happy Holidays!
