Street Fair:
We will be having the annual MPS Street Fair on Friday, December 22nd. Street Fair is a 45 minute block of time where we come together as a community to celebrate the season before our Winter Break. Each homeroom has come up with an idea and plan for a ‘winter carnival’ station. During the 45 minutes, students will be able to go to different classrooms and partake in the games and activities to enjoy connecting with their peers and win prizes. Most games will cost money (anywhere from $1-$2). The money raised will go towards our fundraising initiative for the Calgary Food Bank.
Calgary Food Bank Drive:
Since Monday, December 4th, we have been collecting non-perishable food items for the Calgary Food Bank. Each homeroom will be collecting items and competing against each other to see who can collect the most. We will be collecting items until Friday, December 15th and the winning homeroom class will be announced on Monday December 18th. The prize for the homeroom that collects the most items will be a pizza party on Thursday, December 21st. For a list of items accepted by the food bank, please visit the following link: https://www.calgaryfoodbank.co...
