Grade 9 Farewell @ MPS
We enjoyed celebrating this important milestone in style with our grade 9s and their families on June 20. The assembly, entertainment by MPS Rock Band, photo booth, delicious catered dinner and dance was an incredible event that will be remembered for years to come… a huge thank you to all the staff and grade 8 leadership students who worked so hard to make it a wonderful event. In particular, Ms. LeBlanc deserves a round of applause for her tireless planning and efforts to make the event such a success. All the best grade 9 wolverines! We will miss you….
Grade 9 Picnic | Tuesday, June 25
Information has been sent home to our grade 9 families about the upcoming walking trip to Fish Creek Park for a grade 9 picnic with lunch generously provided by our School Council.
Report Cards
Families will be able to view online student report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 from June 26 – July 26, 2024. Report cards for the 2023-24 school year may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.

IPP – Signatures Needed

Please review the IPP with added observations and then sign under the FINAL REVIEW DATE on the signature page and return it to the Main Office.
Action Required | Next Year Registration
If families with students in grade 6-8 are not returning to MPS next year, please send an email to loataylor@cbe.ab.ca as this information is critical to our planning related to resources and staffing.
Library
Library books are now overdue. We ask that you kindly check with your student to ensure they have returned all books borrowed to the book return bin at the front of the Learning Commons
Band
URGENT: Please return any band instruments found at home to the school asap. There are quite a few misplaced instruments from the past few years. These do not include those that have been rented this summer.
Thank you to everyone that has returned their 1st and 2nd instruments! Have a great summer and see you in the fall.
