On Wednesday, October 25th, at 6:00pm, we will be holding an information meeting for parents/guardians and students that are interested in attending the various trips that we will be offering this year at Mountain Park. The meeting will take place in the Learning Commons at the school. Teachers will be reviewing the various trips, expectations, dates, and costs associated with each trip. Attendance is highly recommended. Additional information and contact emails for each trip is below.

Bluewater Adventures West Coast Sailing Trip – Grade 8/9:

Bluewater Adventures has been offering school programs for over 45 years running safe, educational, and memorable trips for students. The school program trips are typically 5 days in length and are spent exploring the unique coastline of BC’s Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. They start and finish in the picturesque Port Sidney Marina - 20 minutes outside of Victoria, BC and situated close to the Victoria Airport. Our marine school programs are a great opportunity for students to have hands on experience with marine biology, forest ecology, oceanography, sailing and navigation, geography, teamwork and leadership. Questions? Please contact Ms. James at erjames@cbe.ab.ca

Ottawa/Montreal/Quebec City Trip – Grade 8/9:

They will experience the many attractions on display in three of Canada’s grandest cities. Explore the European flair and historic downtown core of Montreal. Study the majestic architecture of Quebec City. In Ottawa, students will get a glimpse behind the scenes of Canadian politics with a visit to the Parliament Buildings. This email is to inform you that the Alberta Health Services School Immunization Program will be at Mountain Park School on October 25, 2023 to immunize Grade 6 students. Children who are eligible to receive immunizations at school will have received an immunization consent package.

  • Please review the information, fill out the consent forms, and return to the school as soon as possible.

·       If you are refusing immunizations, write "refused" across each consent and return to the school.
